Terms of use

These terms cover the Isabella Ocean app ("the app") and its optional unlocks. By using the app you agree to them. If you are unlocking the games, you confirm you are an adult.

The app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your devices. Some levels and games are free; the rest unlock in one of the two ways below.

Unlock option 1: stake 1 SOL

You deposit about 1.01 SOL into the Isabella Ocean stake pool, which runs on Solana's standard, audited stake-pool program. In return your wallet receives pool tokens (OCEAN), about 1 per SOL deposited.
The pool's fee is 100% of the staking rewards. Those rewards pay for the games, so while your SOL is in the pool you do not earn staking rewards on it.
Your OCEAN tokens stay in your own wallet. We cannot move them, and we cannot take your SOL.
You can get your SOL back at any time: instantly through the app for a 0.3% fee (while the pool's instant reserve has room), or free by unstaking, which takes about two days. Solana network fees apply to each transaction.
The extra levels stay unlocked while your wallet holds the tokens. The app checks this when it is online, so an unlock that hasn't been checked for 24 hours locks until it can check again.
The value of SOL changes. You get back SOL, not a fixed amount of money.
Staking relies on Solana validators and on the stake-pool program. Those carry technical risks outside our control.

Unlock option 2: pay once

A one-time payment of US$15, made in SOL, USDC or another supported token and converted on the Solana network to the exact price in USDC. Your wallet shows the exact amount before you approve.
A paid unlock does not expire. If you reinstall the app, connecting the same wallet restores it.
Payments are final, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.

Testing period

The app is currently in testing on Solana's devnet, a test network where tokens have no value. Amounts on devnet are for demonstration only.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always work or be free of errors, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes to staking fees can only take effect gradually, as the stake-pool program enforces.
